Two jobs and you're dirt poor? So if I came out there I'd need a few good connections before even thinking about stepping foot in Cali, right? Are you attending an art school out there? I've heard so so so much of the diversity out there. But of course that's basically any big city. All sorts of people flock towards big buildings in hopes of big bucks. Yeh, 'steady' would be the most appropriate word for it I think. Sun one week and rain all the next. However with Spring's arrival, GA seems to be a spot on earth the sun favors. I think it has rained here maybeeee two or three times in the past three weeks. All others were simply gorgeous.
Whoops scratch that, three jobs! But one is no pay, I’m just an intern at a glass studio. and I would think you would need at least one or two connections before coming out here, just to be able to stay somewhere while looking for a job and you’re own place to stay. But I have never moved out of state, so your guess is as good as mine :) I am not going to school right now, but come fall semester I should have enough to be at least a part time student. That’s awesome, yeah I can’t really complain about weather out here, it’s been like this my whole life, you would think that I would be used to it by now. But sometimes I think it’s always different year to year.
Haha, yeh, it seems most near S.f and L.a have it made. I don't see how that is either. Share the wealth! I'm on the east coast in GA. What's going on with your weather? It's been beautiful here. I think GA's known for it's boring weather. We've no crazy natural disasters, t-storms rarely do any major damage (i.e. rip off rooftops, blow over trees/power lines). At least not in my neck of the woods.
Haha well I’m poor as dirt actually, barley scraping by with two jobs. But there is so much opportunity and culture here that it’s worth it and plenty of good art schools! And it’s been beautiful weather, sunshine and warm, then the next day gray skies and lots of rain! Don’t get me wrong I love it, but it could stick to one of those a week! haha :) Is your guys weather pretty much steady all year?
I checked your flickr, and just wanted to say, you've got a fanciful eye for photos. I'm not some honorable critique or anything, but I figured give credit where it's due, y'know? Keep up the talent, kid. What's CA like?
Thank you, i appreciate that. :) i love it here, i live close to Sf, so i pretty much have it made, although lately the weather has been bonkers! where are you from?
“I am not the happiest person. In fact, in the battle between joy and misery, I’d say that the latter often seems to prevail. I don’t like this, and every day I refuse, for the eighty millionth time, to put up with another minute of it. But the world does what it does, and I often find it disagreeable. After all these years, I’m kind of resigned to that. But I do have one thing on my side: I have enormous faith. And hope. I am not speaking of the kind you find in church or in the afterlife or in heaven or in the Saint James Bible or in the Hare Krishna’s that we all encounter changing flights in the airports of the world, I am speaking of a simple faith that says that one way or another, no matter how many times I stumble and stub my big toe, somehow life is going to work itself out.”—The Bitch Rules // Elizabeth Wurtzel (via thelovelybones)
“The more she could imagine this island, the less she liked the real world. The more she could imagine the people, the less she liked any real people. It got until she didn’t belong anywhere. It got so nobody was good enough, refined enough, real enough. Nothing was as real as her imagined world.”—Chuck Palahniuk
